Type-II diabetes is a condition where the body becomes resistant to insulin due to damage in the insulin receptor cells. There may be various medical causes for the damage to the cells, but generally speaking, Type 2diabetes is often considered a lifestyle disease. People following a less active lifestyle combined with diets high in saturated fats and trans-fatty acids with little or no fiber intake are at a higher risk for Type 2 diabetes.
A clinical trial on Dia-care shows that there was significant reduction of Fasting Blood Glucose (14. 14 % and 24. 50 % on day 45 and day 90 respectively when compared to Screening line glucose level), Postprandial Glucose levels (12. 52 % and 23 % on day 45 and day 90 respectively when compared to Screening line glucose level) And HbA1C levels (6. 74 % and 11. 44 % on day 45 and day 90 respectively when compared to Screening line glucose level) With gradual percentage of reduction throughout the study duration.
From the clinical trail, it was found that Diacare was showing significant percentage of increase in reduction of Fasting Blood Glucose (FBG) And Post Prandial Blood Glucose (PPBG) Levels with gradual positive trend in increase in reduction throughout the study duration. The effect showed on Day-90 was superior to the activity showed on Day-45;
However Dia-care was showing significant increase in reduction effect on HbA1c levels, which was considered as an important parameter in diabetic controlling.
Though it is the initial positive results of Dia-care on a small group of Type-II diabetics with a limited period of time, a lot more research needed to prove its efficacy and pharmacological action.
